Mexico and The Caribbean

Mexico and the Caribbean

Crystal blue waters, sandy beaches, and tropical drinks await on any vacation to the region just south of the United States.  There are also adventures to partake in such as snorkeling, parasailing and zip lining.  The region has a history that goes back thousands of years to the ancient Mayans.  Whether you want to lay out in the sun all day, party all night or have daytime adventure,  Mexico and the Caribbean have plenty of options.  Below are some of my top choices.  If you would like to learn more please contact me.

Cozumel Free

Cozumel

The tiny island off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula offers the perfect destination to those that just want to get away from it all.  There is plenty of beachfront property to be able to find a suitable resort.  And if a small excursion away from the beach is in your plans, there is diving, snorkeling, whale watching and tours of the ancient ruins on the island.  Cozumel has its own international airport with many flights to and from the US that make getting to the island fairly easy.

Atlantis Resort, Bahamas

The Atlantis Resort is on its own island near Nassau in The Bahamas where you can sit by the beach, swim with dolphins or play a round of golf.  There are multiple pools and waterslides, including a glass tube slide that takes you through an aquarium that is inhabited by sharks.  There are actives for all ages of kids making this resort a great place for families to spend a week.

Playa Del Carmen Free

Playa Del Carmen

Located in the heart of the Riviera Maya is Playa Del Carmen.  It offers a lot of the same day trips as Cancun, such as Chichen Itza, but doesn't have the party town reputation.  There are plenty of sandy beaches as well as snorkeling and diving tours.  If you want to get a taste of Cancun or Cozumel both are about an hour trip from Playa Del Carmen.

Turks and Caicos

Turks and Caicos consists of about 100 islands in the Caribbean, but only about 9 of the are inhabited.  Conde Naste has named the islands one of its top destinations in the world because of its beautiful beaches and crystal blue waters.  There are plenty of activities including snorkeling and diving.  There are many resorts with kids activities making it a great destination for families.
